Sophie (she/her), born in 1996 in Erkelenz, Germany, is a versatile movement artist specialised in contemporary dance and dance theatre. With expertise spanning choreography, performance, acting, and production management, she is also a certified GYROKINESIS® teacher. Her artistic journey began in the carnival culture, later evolving through modern dance and physical theatre. Sophie honed her craft at IWANSON International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich (2016–2019), collaborating with renowned choreographers and gaining experience in opera productions at Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz. Working as a freelancer and actively contributing to the free dance scene, she built a vast artist network during her time in Stuttgart and is now based in North Rhine-Westphalia and The Netherlands, further exploring diverse creative collaborations.
